Jo Ewry here. I am asking for prayers on behalf of my mother, Adrienne. She had been receiving treatment for cancer and since had two emergency abdominal surgeries. It is probably too late to add to the bulletin for this week, but I would appreciate adding to next week’s list. This will be a lengthy process to recover.

Heavenly Father, please pray for the Prayer requesters and prayer team as we embarq on a most incredible journey to help as many as we possibly can by bringing them to you to be prayed for. Lord, we know that we can’t do this by ourselves and we know that we can’t convince “prayer requesters” to use this system, so please guide us as we pass through the days trying to reach as many lives as we can….please allow us to ensure guidance to them when we pray over them. Please Lord, let the world know that “prayer” is the only way to talk to you and may we be your “tools” that you use to get them to come out of their shells to pray for the most pressing needs that they may have.
Please Lord open up their hearts and minds to come to you and no one else in their hour of need. Please Lord, forgive those that trespass against us, forgive us Lord for we are not perfect, and sometimes we just get in the way of ourselves. Please forgive us of our sins and short comings, in Christ’s name we pray………….AMEN!

A couple weeks ago, the doctors believe I had a seizure – I was unresponsive for about an hour around 10:00p. They’ve done 5 tests, and nothing shows a problem; HOWEVER, the neurologist wants me to not drive for a month. Thus, I’m only going places I can get to on the bus or to which someone from my place of employment, World Financial Group, is taking me. After week after next, I’ll be in circulation and feel like a bird let out of a cage. In the meantime, I am understanding how fortunate one is when you can get in a car, put the key in the ignition and drive off to wherever you chose. I’m also understanding how gracious God was to direct me to WFG. I’ve never worked with people who care so much – when they say it’s all about the people, they really mean it. As I was sitting on my hospital bed, in walked four of them, all dressed up, and as concerned as can be. Guillermo is picking me up in the morning and others are helping me in other ways. What a privilege I have been given.

I’d appreciate prayer that I have no more seizures and that during this time, and, of course, in the future, I respond in a manner God would be pleased with.
